Farmhouse. C15, remodelled early C17 and extended early C19. Timber-frame
with painted brick infill and slate roof. H-plan, main range aligned east/
west. Stack at junction with east cross-wing. Cross-wings are windowless,
the central range of one storey with attic lit by a rooflight. A 3-light
casement to left of main range, with entrance to right. The recessed door
is half-glazed. Flight of stone steps up right-hand cross-wing to loft
entrance. Framing: three square panels high. Interior of hall range has
three smoke blackened collar trusses forming two bays. Inserted floor has
a lightly moulded joist.
