SU 20 NE LYNDHURST EMERY DOWN

Office

School and attached house, now cottage and Verderer's Hall. Late C19. Brick some
yellow brick bands and moulded brick dressings, patent pantile roof. 1½ storey,
4 bay hall along road, behind at one end 3 bay wing of house with single storey
service range running parallel to hall. Road elevation has to RH gabled projecting
porch with pointed doorway. To LH of it rising from front wall rectangular-section
brick bellcote with gabled roof surmounted by finial. To other bays 3-light
casement with yellow brick sill band, over yellow dentilled cornice, on ridge between
LH and RH bays gabled ventilators. End walls have 2 yellow brick bands and 3-tall
light mullion and transomed window under gauged arch with moulded yellow brick label.
