No 13 (Chalice Leaze) and No 13b (Protea)

Early C19 stucco house with later additions and alterations. Two storeys. Slate roofs. Parapet. Plain pilasters flank front. The additions to the house include one late C19 one-light window in Venetian style with twisted mullions and round-headed lights. Very good three-bay early C19 trelliswork verandah and balcony with decorative ironwork in spandrels. Three sets of paired French windows. No 13b is a one window, two storey extension to left with a second Venetian style window of three lights as before.

Nos 3 and 5 form a group; also the listed buildings from No 3 to No 17 (on the north east side), Glastonbury Abbey (see Magdalene Street), Abbey House, Wall around grounds of the Abbey and Abbey House, all form an important group.
