Early C19 stucco house with later additions and alterations. 2 storeys. Slate roofs.
Parapet. Plain pilasters flank front. The additions to the house include one late
C19 1-light window in Venetian style with twisted mullions and round-headed lights.
Very good 3-bay early C19 trelliswork verandah and balcony with decorative ironwork
in spandrels. 3 sets of paired French windows. No 13b is a 1-window 2-storey extension
to left with a 2nd Venetian style window of 3 lights as before.
Nos 3 and 5 form a group; also the listed buildings from No 3 to No 17 (on the North
east side), Glastonbury Abbey (see Magdalene Street), Abbey House Retreat, Wall
around grounds of the Abbey and Abbey Retreat House, all form an important group.
