Barn and stable. c1600 with mid-C19 and late C20 alterations. Timber-framed, weatherboarded, brick replacement walling and corrugated iron roof. Eight framed bays aligned north/south; wagon bay fourth from north end with opposed cart entries now blocked to west. East elevation has seven square openings and six doors.

Interior: four panels from sill to wall-plate, some short straight braces in upper corners; roof structure mainly replaced and has collar and tie-beam trusses with two struts and tie-beam trusses with raking struts.

The barn and stables enclose the farmyard to the west of Hilltop Farmhouse (qv) and adjoin the north gable end of Damson Tree Cottage (qv).
