Village school, now village hall. Inscribed around central window 'THIS
SCHOOL IS THE GIFT OF MARY CARR 1847 TO HEMINGBROUGH HER NATIVE PARISH'.
Late C20 extension to left of no particular interest. Pinkish-brown brick
in Flemish bond with ashlar dressings and Welsh slate roof. Oblong on plan.
Single storey, 3 bays. Entrance to extension, glazed double doors. 3
round-arched windows the centre one of which is larger, all with moulded
wooden mullions, the outer ones two-light and that to centre of 3-lights
with Y-tracery. Ashlar sills and arches with keystones and imposts.
Bracketed overhanging eaves. Hipped roof. No stacks.
