II

House, now a public house. C.1600, altered in C20. Timber framed, plastered,
roofed with handmade red clay tiles. 4 bays facing S with axial stack in second
bay from left end. 2-storey extension forming a parallel range at the rear
right corner, and single-storey extensions of various dates along the remainder
of the rear and at the right end. 2 storeys. Ground floor, one C19 and 2 C20
casements. First floor, 3 C19 casements. 2 plain boarded doors with C20 hoods
on profiled brackets. Chamfered axial and transverse beams, plain joists of
horizontal section.
