to left (south) of
track and approx. 500
metres west of Braintree

Barns. C17 range to left, C15 to right. Timber framed and weatherboarded some
plaster to rear. Brick plinth. Red and multi-coloured pantiled roofs, that to
left half-hipped to left, the right range half-hipped with gablet to right.
Hipped midstrey to left, gabled midstrey to right, both with vertically boarded
doors. The left range of two bays with through bracing to walls and side purlin
roof. The three right bays, aisled, with collars to each rafter pair and halved
and bridled scarfs to top plates. Arched braces to tie beams and top plates.
Viewing limited at time of re-survey as barn in use for storage.
