Cottage. Circa C16/17 stone rubble cottage with later alterations. Slate roof with
gabled ends. Two storeys. Two window range. Two and three-light casements with
glazing bars. Right hand plank door. Brick chimney stack at gable end. Lean-to
outshut at rear and outshut at gable end enclosing a semi-circular oven.
Interior: Cambered timber head to doorway in what is probably a timber screen.
Chamfered bressummer to fireplace on end wall. Heavy chamfered ceiling beams.
Date on west gable '1662'.
