Row of cottages. Datestone 1824. Walls flint, gault brick dressings. Roof red
pantiles. Datestone 'J L 1824 F C'. Unaltered Holkham Estate cottages. Garden
front (E: 3-light cast iron casements, glazing bars, under cambered rubbed brick
arches, quoins. First floor windows, 2-light iron casements, glazing bars, wooden
lintels. Brick quoins and sills. Simple boarded doors, rubbed brick cambered
arches and quoins. Central arched alleyway, tapering brick arch and quoins, red
brick. Datestone above, off axis. Hoe 26, 28 and 30 with lean-to porches and
outhouses to this front, flint pantiles. No 22 one storey N extension, flint,
pantiled. Rear facade to Kirkgate, blank except for alleyway and 3 windows.
