Cottage. C17 with C19 alterations including refenstration. Roughcast and
whitewashed, probably on a rubble core, hipped straw-thatched roof, parallel range
to right with an asbestos sheeting roof.
Plan and development: long rectangular cottage, probably of 2 rooms on the ground
floor, later thrown into one with the removal of the dividing wall. Rear room with
corner fireplace. Shallow parallel C20 addition to right side now with main
entrance.
Exterior: main part of 2 storeys, single bay, a 2-light casement with glazing bars
upon each floor. Addition to right with a casement on first floor, ground floor
with C20 half-glazed door.
Interior: with unchamfered ceiling beams on ground floor. Fireplace to corner with
wood unchamfered bressumer.
Roof: probably C18.
