A C17 timber-framed and plastered house with a long iron-Laze of 56 ft. 3 storeys
(the 3rd storey was added in the C18 or C19). Cellars. 4 window range, mainly
double-hung sashes with glazing bars; in flush cased frames. The 2nd. storey
windows are casements. The upper storey probably once was jettied. RCHM (53).

No 4 and the House occupied by Henry Joscelyn Ltd form a group.
