C16 or C17 timber frame farmhouse, altered and extended about
1840 in Tudor Gothic style. Painted brick ground floor,
roughcast upper floor, machine tile roof. Hall range in centre,
lower cross wing and further 2-storey extension on N. 1-storey
addition on S. 3-light leaded casements with Tudor grip moulds.
Cusped wooden valence to hall range, and cusped bargeboard with
pendant finials to 1st floor gable on N extension. Gabled door
hood with cusped bargeboard and 4-centre arch door. Parallel
gabled ranges behind N and S extensions, both N and S twin gables
with cusped bargeboards and finials.
