Cottage, perhaps originally stables. Early Cl9, altered mid C20. Red sandstone random rubble, steeply pitched hipped
slate roof, tall brick stack rising from eaves right. Plan: 2 cell, attached single storey, single cell porch left. 2
storeys, 2 bays; 2-light segmental headed casements first floor, C20 3-light segmental headed casement groundfloor
right with pantiled, lean-to timber clad porch left containing C20 window left of glazed door. Primarily listed for
group value with the adjoining Hazeldene (qv) left, and Yellow and Shasta Cottages (qv) right.
