House. C17 with modifications. Local stone roughly squared and coursed;
plain clay tiles over 2 stone slate base courses between coped gables,
with end brick stacks. 2-storeys, 3-bays. Central 6-panel door in plain
opening, with timber porch: 3-light C19 casement windows except that
over porch, a 2-light ovolo moulded mullioned window without label;
casement to this last has wrought iron butterfly catches. On the South a
lean-to with C20 door and window. Front boundary railings of wrought
iron with varying points to uprights; cast iron standards at intervals
with urn finials, set on low stone wall: an identical railing to that of
Wyndhams, Camel Street (qv). Included particularly for its value in the
setting of the Church and Church Green.
