House. C17 origin, heightened to 2 storeys and made 2 houses in
late C18 or early C19, made one house in C20. Timber frame
plastered, but weatherboarded rear to W half. Old red tile roof
with shared central chimney. A long narrow building facing S
with lobby entry by the central chimney. C18 handed plan of. 2 2
units each with a large heated room and narrow inner room with
staircase. Axial beam carries upper floor. Purlin-ends for old
roof still project. 2-storeys, 4 windows to upper floor. 2-
light small flush casement windows, with small panes. 2 3-light
flush casement windows flank the battened door in the middle.
Boarded door into W end room and small window to E end room.
