Barn approx. 15m south-west of Fold Cottage

Barn. Mid-to late C17 with later alterations. Weatherboarded timber
frame on uncoursed limestone rubble plinth; corrugated iron roof. Doors
to left of centre and to right; 4 eaves hatches. Interior. Framing visible:
square panels, 3 from cill to wall-plate with long straight tension braces
to bay partitions. Double-purlin roof in 4 bays with raking struts from
tie beams to principal rafters to first and second trusses from left and
queen-struts with V-struts from collars to third truss from left and end
trusses. Stone threshing floor in second bay from left.
