The Bird House, 30 metres South West of Charcroft Farmhouse

Bird House. c1900. Timber frame and weatherboarding, on front stone retaining wall, with 4-staddle stones otherwise supporting it; hipped plain clay tile roof. Upper half cantilevered on South East side over duck-pond, under which is a small door with a duck ladder into the pond. Designed to match and complement the Granary (qv) and forminq a picturesque grouping with it and Charcroft Farmhouse (qv).
