Farmhouse. C17 front range, later C17 brick rear wing, C19 brick front,
renovated and NE kitchen extension 1980s. Timber frame on brick sill all
roughcast, brick front roughcast, C17 red brick in irregular bond to
rear wing. Steep red tile roofs. A 2-storeys, T-shaped house at rear of
farmyard on rising ground facing S, with 2-cells, end-chimneys plan
front range 3 windows wide with central entrance. Flush leaded casement
windows with 5-lights to left of 5 panels door the upper 3 panels
fielded, the lower 2 flush-leaded. Staircase projecting beside chimney
stack at SW corner. Stair in 2 storeys rear wing formerly built into
slope and entered at 1st floor level with cellar below now excavated
out. This wing has a plat-band, tumbled brick gable parapet. 2 windows
on N to each floor and one higher in the gable.
