Barn. Early to mid-C18 with later alterations. Red brick (part English
and part mixed bond) on rubblestone plinth; plain tile roof with crowstep
gables and decorated finials. 2 levels with plat band; wide double
doors to centre flanked by eaves hatches to left and right (former
now blocked); ground floor has two C19 segmental-headed openings to
right of entrance and C20 door with concrete lintel to far right. Infilled
cross-shaped and narrow rectangular air vents; circular owl holes to
gable ends with blocked segmental-headed windows beneath. Interior:
double-purlin roof in 5 bays with raking struts from tie beams supporting
principal rafters to centre trusses and king posts to outer trusses.
