C17. Tall T-shaped timberframed house with cross wing (No 72) now
subdivided. Large internal chimney stack rising through rear slope of old
red tile roof at junction with cross wing. Pantiled lean-to against W
gable end. Gable weatherboarded above. N front weatherboarded at Gd floor
and plastered above. Gd floor of cross wing recently plastered and small
tiled porch added. 2 wide spaced small windows to each floor. 2 light
flush wooden casements. Plank door off centre to E with drip board over
on shaped brackets. 1 window central to each floor of cross wing below
boxed verges to gable. Door next E corner. Oldest house of picturesque
group on S side of road.
