House, now shop and surgery. C17 with alterations of c.1700. Timber
framed with painted brick nogging, partly rebuilt and extended in brick.
C20 machine tile roof, hipped to right. Framing: small rectangular
panels. Circa 1700 light framing in left-hand gable end. One framed
bay with additions at rear. 2 storeys and attic. Central gabled dormer
with 2-light wooden casement. Rendered brick ridge stack to rear.
First-floor mid-to late C19 three-light wooden mullioned and transomed
window. Ground-floor late C19 shop-front with plate-glass window,
half-glazed door to right with margin lights and 2 panels, and surround
with panelled piers, and fascia with billet ornament above. Rear wing of
c.1700 with exposed collar and tie-beam truss in gable end.
