House. C17 with later alterations. Timber framed with brick additions;
plain tile roof; brick integral end stack and corner stack. 2-framed
bay end lobby-entry plan, aligned north-south facing west. Formerly one
storey and attic and 2 square panels to eaves, now 2 storeys with 3
square panels to eaves, the third tier painted in imitation of timber
framing, straight tension braces; 2 windows, C20 casements with
psuedo-shutters; door to right in gabled porch. Left hand (north) gable
has queen struts and a king strut above the collar, the principal rafters
are lap-jointed at the apex and carry a ridge piece. Interior: the
south bay has a large open fireplace and timber framed stack; north bay
has a timber framed axial partition.
