House, attached to No.19. Early C19, with mid C19 alterations. Walls of
stucco, parapet. Hipped tile roof of double pile, slate above a rear
extension. Probably designed as a lower wing of Nos. 17 and 19, but with
two full-height bays added to the front; two storeys, 3.3 windows. Sashes.
The doorway has pilasters, a later tiled hood (between the bays), and a
half-hipped door. The north-west elevation shows a coupled parapet linked
by a massive tapered chimney, the upper windows on each side having pointed
arches and Gothic sashes: the ground-floor is an original outshot (masked
by a horizontal parapet at the front) with slate roof and sash window. The
rear has complex small extensions.
