Mary Miles headstone
approximately 8 m south-
east of south porch of
Church of St Deinst


Headstone. Late C18. Sandstone. Cherub's head and highly decorative
foliate surround to cartouche with convx inscription panel. Commemorates
Mary Miles, died 1767. A fine example of the local vernacular craftsmanship
adjacent to the fine Edmund Miles memorial (qv).
