Cottage, late C18, on the Gt. Saxham Hall Estate. Possibly by Capability
Brown. Hexagonal, with 2-storey porches, gabled, on 3 sides. Red brick walls,
with gault brick string courses and rusticated quoins formed of raised blocks
of flintwork. Pantiled pyramid roof with central gault brick chimney. C20
small-paned casements in original openings, some with rendered semi-circular
panels above; porch gables have similar, larger, panels, one with central 6-
panel entrance door. Restored c.1980.
