4/68 Pheasant Cottage

II

Detached cottage. Late C17 with some rebuilding c1800. Chalk and
flint chequers, thatched roof, brick stacks. Single-storey and
attic, 2 windows. Planked door to right of centre in C20
weatherboarded porch, to right is 2-light casement and left is 3-
light casement and fixed window. Two eyebrow dormers with 2-light
casements. Left return has metal casement to ground and attic
floors. Right return has small casement to ground and attic
floors. Rear has French windows and C20 casement to ground
floor. Attached to left is C20 lean-to extension.
Interior said to have timber-framed partition to first floor.
