Former farmhouse, now a pair of cottages. Mid or late C17 with C19 and C20
alterations. 2 storeys. 3-cell lobby-entrance plan. Timber-framed and
pebble-dashed. Concrete pantiled roof with axial chimneys of red brick,
recapped C19 in gault brick. C20 casements. Glazed C20 entrance doorway to
each cottage in C19 rear extensions (the former entrance front now faces the
garden). Good principal members, including bridging joists with lambstongue
chamfers, but framing otherwise concealed. Side-purlin roof.
