Former farmhouse, early C17 or possibly C16. Mid C19 remodelling. 3-cell
lobby-entrance plan. Timber framed and roughcast. Plaintiled roof with axial
C17 chimney of red brick; another C18/C19 chimney at left hand gable. Mid C19
casements, those at the ground storey with heavy mullions and transomes. C19
gabled porch at lobby entrance, with boarded and battened door. A rear 2-
storey C19 wing; red brick, plaintiled roof. Interior not examined.
