Gate lodge at entrance drive to Thurston Place, early C19. Timber-framed and
plastered with roughcast panels on a painted brick plinth. Hipped slated low-
pitched roofs. Axial chimneys: one of red brick and the other with a circular
flue of diaper-patterned gault terracotta tiles. One storey. 2 window
elevation to drive, and another to road. Casements of 2 lights with Y-tracery
in pointed heads, in the Gothic manner. 6-panelled entrance door with pointed
head, the upper pair of panels glazed. C19 open gabled entrance porch on
posts, with slated roofs.
