House, c.1600. 2 storeys. 3-cell lobby entrance plan. Timber-framed and
plastered. Pantiled C19 roof with axial chimney, the shaft rebuilt in mid C20
red brick. C19 and C20 casements. C20 half-glazed panelled door at lobby
entrance. Apart from the loss of roof structure in C19, a complete and
typical example of a modest late C16 house. Close studding, unchamfered floor
joists laid flat, blocked back-to-back fireplaces in hall and original
parlour.
