Tithe barn. Mid C17 with some later rebuilding; said to have been dated 1653
in iron figures. On the south gable end is a re-set datestone of 1652. Red
brick and flint pebble, mostly in the form of chequerwork except to the lower
part of the roadside wall where there is a diaper pattern. Red brick parapet
gables, largely rebuilt. Thatched roof. The roadside wall has 3 buttresses
and a range of 11 slit ventilation openings. Cart entrance in the centre of 7
bays, the 3 northern bays being wider than those to the south. Roof with
stepped butt purlins and later queen struts.
