House now 4 cottages. Late C17 with early C19 alterations. Rubble brought to
course ashlar dressings, stone elate roof. 2 storeys: Hall and cross-wing
plan 3 room front of 3 bays. 1st bay has C19 doorway with monolithic jambs and
double chamfered mullioned window of 6 lights the sill lowered (3 mullions
removed) over is 5-light flat faced mullioned window. 2nd bay has large lintel
and 12-light mullioned and transomed window (transoms and moat mullions
removed), over is 5-light flat faced mullioned window. Hoodmoulds over ground
floor windows. Right hand bay in gabled cross-wing (rendered) with doorway with
monolithic jambs and 3-light C19 mullioned window with mid C18 4-light flat
raced mullioned window over with square reveals. Attached to left hand and
right band is single cell 2-storey early C20 extension. Rear of main range
has single storey aisle with gabled 2nd storey, late C19, over. 3 stacks.
