Mill chimney to west
of Crestol House

Mill chimney. Mid late C19. Coursed stone. Square base with round-arched
vent on north (canal) side. Band. Chimney broached to give octagonal shaft,
tapering, approximately 30 metres high and with stepped band toward top.
Paired shaped brackets on table support band with cornice, above which rises
top of chimney. Approach is from towing path of Rochdale Canal.
