2 cottages. Late C18/early C19. Brick with 2 different types of render. Thatched
roof; brick ridge stacks. Potney Cottage on left is one-unit plan; Spinney
Cottage is 2-unit plan. One storey and attic; 3-window range. Potney Cottage has -
glazed door in C20 porch with tile roof. Late C20 bow window. C19 three-light
casement with horizontal glazing bar. Swept dormers. Spinney Cottage has
thatched brick porch on right. Half-glazed door. C20 two- and 3-light casements.
Small whitewashed brick addition on right has tile roof. Late C20 alterations to
rear. Interiors not inspected. Included for group value.
