Detached house. C.1820. Random squared sandstone with some brick dressings,
but main garden front (east) good ashlar, Welsh slate roof. Square block
in parallel ranges with valley gutter, deep box eaves, brick stacks. Entrance
front two storeys, one windowed, centrally under valley, sash with glazing
bars, deep portico in influted Doric with Greek capitals plus bases, heavy
tripartite entablature. Garden front 3-windowed, ground floor two 3-light
sashes and central recessed blank, first floor three sashes, all with bars.
Interior: many good original 4-panel doors in architraves, contemporary stick
baluster staircase, high pitched rooms. Wing removed left (west) side.
