Farmhouse. C18. Rendering ashlared, on rubble, Welsh slate roof. T-shaped plan, back wing added in C19 to earlier front block, gable stacks (right end reputed to be 'false'), third stack off centre, left with spiral stone stair now concealed, fourth stack back wall right: all stacks in coursed sandstone. Two storeys, 3-windowed, all cross mullion and transome with leading to rectangular panes under stepped voussoir lintols and with stone cills. Six-panel door under segmental hood. Floor board removed during alterations inscribed on back LY 1809 (Young); building said to have been stone slated until 1907.
