about 17m north-north-east of
north-east corner of tower,
Church of St. Peter and St. Paul

GV II


Pedestal tomb; late C18; stone. Flat lid with indented corners
and moulded edge: above moulded base, fillet to steep cavetto
moulding, rising to flat square cyma dome with gadrooned edge.
Below plain face north and south, tooled line to form rectangular
panel for lettering, with shaped head. East and west large
projecting scrolls as buttresses. Moulded plinth. Inscriptions
record deaths in 1766, 1787, 1792 and of children. One of a group
of Cadle monuments, 4 others listed (q.v.).
