GV II

Regency villa. Early C19. Stuccoed and painted, blind arcade to flat arches and
Doric flat pilasters, paired to centre bay, all to plinth, and with moulded eaves
cornice, low-pitched hipped Welsh slate roof to box eaves, small end stacks. Two
storeys, 3-windowed, 12-pane over 16-pane sashes, central pair 3-panel doors, part
glazed, plus transom light with fluted frame and transom. On right return a glazed
bow with hood under 16-pane sash. The front formerly with verandah now removed.
Interior retains stick baluster stair with swept handrail, original doors and
shutters. Still an elegant building despite the loss of verandah.
