ST 59 NE
10/260 Unidentified monument in
the churchyard c 5 metres

the Church of St Andrew
GV II
Chest tomb. Early C18. Sandstone. Flat, very thick top with cyma mould edge,
flat panels with sunk margin, base sunk at time of survey, September 1983. None
of the inscriptions is legible, but the design of the monument, especially the thick
top, suggests an early C18 date. One of a group of six monuments south of the porch.
