Architect Ernest Newton, 1898. Designed to form part of the same group as the Royal Bell Hotel and No 179. Four storeys brown brick. Tiled roof with modillion cornice. Two gables with stone dressings. Two three-light modified venetian through all floors. Retains part of the original shopfronts.
