Probably C17 timber-framed cottage with thatched roof. Set in stone base. Two storeys.
The west side has a ground floor faced with brick and the first floor hung with curved tiles. The south and east sides have exposed timber-framing with brick infilling.
C18 brick chimney stack. Four restored leaded casement windows. Simple doorcase.
This is one of only 2 remaining thatched houses in Crawley Borough.
