Lidgate Farmhouse
II

Farmhouse; C17, considerably altered in C19. Coursed gritstone with quoins. Slate
roof. Stone gable end stacks. Two storeys, three bays. Central chamfered, quoined
doorcase with massive lintel. C20 plank door. To west, 3-light recessed and
chamfered mullion window with C20 casements. To east, C20 window in C18 flush
surround. Over door C20 window in recessed and chamfered opening, formerly
2-light. Above, to west, similar but larger opening with C20 window. To east,
modern window in C18 flush surround as below.
