GV II

House, early C19. Red brick with Welsh slate roof and
parapeted gable at NW end. Of 3 storeys with stack through
roof slope near NW gable. Corbelled eaves.
EXTERIOR: second floor has 2 recessed double-hung sash windows
with margin glazing under slightly arched rubbed brick heads.
The first floor has 2 similar but deeper double-hung sashes.
Ground floor has one similar, near-central, double-hung sash,
black tarred plinth and entrance door with reeded surround and
flat hood enclosing rectangular margin glazed fanlight and
door with 6 raised-and-fielded panels. Single-storey lean-to
extension on rear.
INTERIOR: much altered but short length of early C19 staircase
survives with column newel and stick balusters.
