3/33 Gates and gate piers to
Royal Military Academy

GV II

Entrance Gates. Early C19, Stucco piers with cast iron railings. Half oval plan
with quadrant side railings projecting at ends. Square panelled piers on moulded
plinths with moulded capitals. 7 foot high on ends, 8 foot high either side of
main gates. Central double gates with roundel band to top and arch over;
flanking side gates lower, with similar roundel bands. Quadrant railings on dado
walling.
