Mid C19 2-storey, 2-window cottage interesting for its use of the local material
found in the field where it stands. Small coursed galleted iron-stone rubble
with quoins and dressings of red brick and grey headers, including a 1st floor
band. Wide gable end across whole front. Slated roof, brick chimneys. Sash
windows with glazing bars, those on ground floor under segmental arches. Small
projecting gabled porch. Small rear extensions.
