SU 94 NE COMPTON C.P. THE AVENUE, Binscombe

3/60 Rose Tree Cottage

Cottage. C17 restored and extended in C20. Timber framed, clad in red
brick below with frame exposed above and infilled with brick and render.
Bargate stone rubble and brick cladding to rear. Hipped plain tiled
roof with end gablets and ridge cresting. At right angles to street.
Large stack to rear right. One storey and attic under two gabled
dormers to centre, four framed bays with curved bracing to first floor.
Four ground floor windows including one to left in pentice extension.
C20 doors to right end in brick porch.
