Two tomb chests approx.
27 metres south of
Church of St Giles

GV II

Two tomb chests. Later C18. Limestone ashlar. Classical style. Commemorating:-
(1) William Syms (d.1774): raised fielded panels in sides and ends, with wide
vase-profile corners, lid with moulded edge.
(2) John [Rulqoek?] (d.1789): side and end panels with concave corners, framed
by vertical strips of horizontal fluting; lid with moulded edge, inscription
heavily eroded and mostly illegible.
