Canal milepost. Dated 1820. Cast iron. Approximately 800mm high,
set on circular shaft with convex rectangular display to top, divided
down centre and inscribed to left: "ETRURIA/15/MILES", and to
right: "UTTOXETER/15/MILES"; the head is finished by a dome and
the base bears a small quatrefoil inscribed: "R & D/STONE/1820".
