GV II

Handed,cottage pair. Early C19. Colourwashed brick on render plinth with low
pitched, hipped slate roofs. Two storeys over basement with projecting end
breaks and stacks to ends. Tripartite glazing-bar sash fenestration with one
window on each floor of end break, those to right (in No 71) with lower glazing-
bars removed. One 12-pane glazing-bar sash window either side of centre on the
first floor. Additional plate glass sash window to first floor re-entrant angle
to right. Glazed doors either side of segmentally-headed niche in a reeded
surround. Portico of 4 Doric columns on pedestals in front supporting flat roof,and
approached up a flight of steps.
