Terrace of 9 shops. Late C19, restored c1990. Coursed rusticated ashlar with ashlar dressings and slate roofs. Bracketed eaves, plain sill and impost bands. 3 storeys and dormers. 3 and 4 windows each. Gabled dormers, Nos 69 and 71 altered. Round arched 1st and 2nd floor windows; 1st floor with splayed bay window. Ground floor shop frontages mostly altered (except No 81). Good original cast iron shopping arcades with reeded columns painted black with decorative details high-lighted with gold leaf and glazed roofs. Incl~ded for shopping arcades, the last to survive in Harrogate.

(except No 81). Good original cast iron shopping arcades with reeded columns
and glazed roofs. Included for shopping arcades, the last to survive in Harrogate.
